Testimonies: Fruits of the Convocation - Post #11

Updated: Aug 10, 2022

At the Convocation, I witnessed Bishop Berg’s humble leadership and his great tenderness for his priests and for the broader community, bringing out the best in all present. This gave me hope for the future and a sense of peace. Masses with so many holy priests and others with a deep reverence for the Holy Eucharist helped me to embrace the Eucharistic Revival as true gift. I have attended many secular planning sessions in my life, but never one like this that so earnestly sought the influence of the Holy Spirit to guide every aspect of the process and to be the source of every idea brought forward. It was not saying a prayer before we got started each day; it was prayer integrated into every moment. As I work with various ministries in our parish, I am now more focused on prayer and seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
